Expressing the inexpressible ... pure silence comes closest of all. That’s why from time to time we must wrap ourselves around our cameras. The quiet of photography and the silence of the finished photograph are eloquent in the way that surpasses all words.

'Castles' is the currently running theme.
Castles and fortresses make powerful imposing photographic subjects. These grand buildings are usually set in a stunning landscape, and are full of detail and character. They also have a dark side, due to their often grizzly history, which you can exploit in your shots.

This contest will end at midnight on Sunday the 10^th of April 2022.
