Results Contest DOORS

by Yvette Depaepe
Published the 10th of November 2020

'DOORS' are a universal symbol of entry and exit in all the cultures around the world. The submissions on this virtual tour were very diversified: some graphical, some artistic, some classic, some traditional  and some funny.

The winners with the most votes are:

1st place: Ahmad Kaddourah
2nd place: Heinz Hieke
3rd place: Robin Wechsler

Congratulations to the winners and honourable mentions and thanks to all the participants in the contest 'DOORS'.

'Geometric Patterns' is the currently running theme.
Geometry and patterns are closely related. They appear everywhere. They interact because the eye is able to pick out patterns. Spotting them is about having an eye for lines and curves.

This contest will end at midnight on Sunday the 22nd of November 2020.
The sooner you upload your submission the more chance you have to gather the most votes.

If you haven't uploaded your photo yet, click here.

Good luck to all the participants...

Thanks Yvette and 1x friends! Very appreciated. (also want to mention my friend Pancho Pescador, a prominent muralist in my land who is the painter of the door in my submission.)
Thank you so much to all 1x Team , Thank you dear Yvette for your kind support . Congratulation to All .
Thank you very much, dear Yvette and congratulations to all the colleagues who participated in the theme.
Great topic, one of my favorite and ...I missed participating by force of circumstances. Beautiful collection here. Always a pleasure to follow these contests. Congratulations to all and to Yvette! (Must say that I chuckled at the prosaic door for Place de la Defence)
