Vacatio is a Latin word which means “suspension” or “exemption”.
Cities around the world are almost deserted as measures to tackle the coronavirus.

The only form of human presence on the streets is the key workers, deliverers and homeless people looking for a place to shelter.   Windows displays, mannequin seems to be the only spectators of this surreal panorama.

Excellent storytelling Lorenzo!
Dear Yvette, thank you so much for this featuring the Lonodn Locked story! I hope things are going well for you. Best wishes. Lorenzo
Great photos documenting one of the world's greatest scams.
I am also currently doing a lot of street photography. We live in strange and scary times that humanity will remember. This is contemporary history. I understand your urge to document as good as possible. Your images are dramatic and calm at the same time. I really like them. Congratulations and a big thank you to Yvette for this important feature.
Excellent street shots showing desolation and emptiness. A unique testimony about the dramatic and sad quarantine, Lorenzo. Never visited London and was going to travel over there half-way March just when the Corona-virus hits Europe so badly. Waiting impatiently for better times all over the world and for realizing the trip to a gorgeous Metropolis. Thanks and stay healthy ... Yvette
