I always was fascinated by hands. Carla DLM wrote in her article about the eyes: they are open windows into our souls. I love to think of our hands as tools to express our souls or quote
Jacob Bronowski: “The hand is the cutting edge of the mind” and that is so true!
Hands are the most important, complex and useful parts of our body. Have you ever tried to imagine how you would manage without them?
Our fingers are even more sensitive than the eyes—the fingertips have a large number of receptors responsible for sending messages to the brain.
When you communicate, your brain automatically involves your hands to convey thoughts and emotions, without you even knowing it.
Hands, together with fingers, have a huge variety of functions: communicating, giving, asking, working, creating, thinking, supporting, loving, caring and most of all “EXPRESSING”.
I discovered so many stunning and expressive images in the 1x gallery that I like to share them with you today. It turned out into a wonderful tribute to our “hands”. Enjoy and cherish yours like never before ;-)

Edith Hoffman Wonderful selection of hands dear Yvette and I feel honored to be included. It's so true what you write about the hands, sometimes we take things for granted. I know that, because I am handicapped at the moment too, because of my feet. Thank you so much and congratulations to all the other ones too. Enjoy your weekend my friend and take care! :-) xx |
