I received this comment on a photograph that I have being curated at the moment.
I can’t agree with your logic. My photograph is not about “how it can be used”, of course it is all about interpretation, and you chose yours. My photo is from a past reality (as are all photos) and it is fact. It is what it was then and it remains, in many parts of the world, to be what it is today, Real!
What I have noticed about the current trends on this site is that there are a lot of photographs that are as far from reality as can be, and I love it, but it’s not real.
I am interested enough in responding to your comment and glad that it stirred you enough to do so.
I think that a lot of the curation comments that are made are not worth responding to but as a group we should be able to respond to them when the time arises. This is the only way I know how to respond.
