I would like to know what "published and awarded (in award queue)" means, it is what appears in the details of my last published photo.

I think that your current photo will be published immediately

and then later (a few days or so) also on the home page (awarded).

Susi, it means that the posting under Award category is in the queue and will, in a few days be highlighted in that Category for it to be profiled appropriately, each Awarded image gets it's "15 mins of fame". Congrats on the Award!
