How to get awarded.

Hi, 

 

I'm new here and want to know more about the award and publish system. I got 3 images published and got a published photographer certifcate. What is the next level and how can i get it. Where do I submit photos to get the award, is it from contest or regular curate. I cant find info on the levels or steps for each higher status.

Hi Kevin when you post an image for selection if you a one of the lucky ones it will be published. Just like the three you now have in your portfolio Congratulations by the way... Now awarded images come next if any of the three already published catch the attention of the head curators they may be awarded. So you don't have to do anything just wait and see.

Welcome to 1X !   There is some information about the Curation process in the FAQ section.  Decisions are made by the 14 Head Curators.  To see their biographies and galleries go to the 'About' section of the site.  It's in the 'fly-out' menu on the left.   There have been several articles about Curation in the Magazine.  Here are links  . . . .  Some are old now, but may be of interest still.
