I just want to brief you about some gear which I have tested and was satisfied very much. My first problem was how to carry two cameras since I am only working with primes to have my hands free also. I tried many harness solutions but never was fine with it till I purchased the SUN Sniper TPH system. It carries two cameras and my small x100 and my laptop. The laptop I used many times to show the photographs to the people. Also a solar charger panel I have attached to charge battery if needed. I am now quite happy with it and never want to miss it.
Have any of you similar solutions?

Gosh this is quite ingenious...and very well thought out by the looks of things! I have to admit that I have a slightly irrational fear of having things nicked when i can't see them, hence have never gone for anything on my back (not even a back pack). But I can see how it could really work, thanks for the link :)

looks like is is just what I need in difficult situations to avoid changing lenses, and avoid 2 camera"s knocking each other out. this said, I only was once in a situation where I carried 2 bodies ... (one hired, for free as a trial) . But although my wife want's me to sell my D700 if I buy a new one ... I feel for the less money I can get for it, it would be much smarter to keep it to have in situations like travel or weddings 2 camera's with different optic ready to shoot. And there comes the use of this great harness.

OMG! If any of you ever see me walking about looking like that or carrying that much gear, PLEASE just shoot me in the head right away!

Much easier just to shove a spare prime in my jeans pocket and walk a few extra steps!!

My second camera is the LX5 which fits nicely in a very small pouch attached to my belt.

looking at your portfolio clyde ... you shoot mostly landscapes Clyde. And , indeed, when you take some steps to come closer the whole happening doesn't change. Other example : a fisherman doesn't move for a whole day, and a piano player cant escape his piano. But when it's about shooting emotion just while they happen ... if you take some steps to change position the shot is gone for always. We all approach photography in another way, and thus we need to think different :-)). Besides this aspect ; carrying 2 camera's with lens on an harness will be less weight and less constrain than carrying one camera on my neck, and my filled backpack on the back; and will improve a lot my flexibility and speed.

I'm pretty sure my post was only about me...

sorry if you felt I was hard. sometimes difficult to explain ourself correctly for non english natives. just pointing out it's different for all of us, and I very much understand people who prefer lightweight gear to walk around. But for me a prime will never do the job , or I'll have to change my sensor every 3 month.

Looks like a very good idea for an expedition or for travel work Robert. A bit difficult to handle for everyday shooting though, as this back bag might reduce mobility. The idea of the cameras hanging without banging each other I solve it in a very similar but very cheap way. One body on the neck and the other (usually with a longer lens) with the tripod quick release attached on it and on this (on the quick release) a good long strap hanging on the shoulder exactly the same way as in those pictures.
