I got my one after couple of weeks ordering time and finally arrived full of expectations i did open the package. In the package the camera a lens cab and a hand belt with a short description. After 2 hours of charging she was ready to start and i entered the really short menu for easy mode and manual mode. The zoom function is via touch field a top. After some short introduction clips from the lytro.com homepage i could start some trials already. In manual mode she works more reliable. The camera stores the pictures in RAW format with the ending *.lfp but in CS6 the same could not be open. (perhaps somebody know how to do this) The picture software is on the camera already and install it self while plugin the camera to the computer. The software did look very ugly but she suggested me an update which i did and the new lytro desktop looks now much better but always stops working here in my MAC so i had to restart the software all the time. Anyway, the re-focusing issue is just amazing and a lot of fun. The output files after processing with the on board software from lytro are *.jpg and RAW (*.lfp). The RAW file has a size of 16 Mb and the jpg just 200 kb with a size of 1080x1080 which is nothing really for printing.

Fazit:

A fun and stunning camera in a modern design but nothing much for serious photography with an acceptable quality. I hope the development goes further with a higher output resolution and more functions
