Great find Hans-Martin.
Some views are still more or less unchanged (apart from the thousands of tourist). The view on the outskirts with the windmills is really 19th century. Completely different now.
The quality of these photos is remarkable.

I am fond of historical photos of different cities and some historical events. Thanks for the link, very nice photos of old Bruges :) By the way if someone is interested in it too here is another article with some shocking historical photos
