I asked this question on the site-related - with no response - So creating a topic here:
Do photos that get sold are sold with visibly copyrighted or behind the print as some other companies do?
Thanks
WOW! Its amazing to see that such an important topic as COPYRIGHTS - is unanswered for over a week!!!!!
Anyone trying to sell your photos on 1X should know this - or noone cares?
I am surprised that the management of this site is not responding - on the flip side if this topic has been already covered can you please point me in the right direction at least?
Thanks
Let me be clear I'm not part of the 1x management, despite my role I'm just a 1x member, like you.
1x sells as prints only, via partner shops and on 1xondemand.com. I don't see a possibility to have a copyright on a fine art print, and a benefit of having it on the backside.
Personally, I don't care. A photo of your print (or a scan) cannot be prevented, and removing a watermark is done in seconds. especially with Photoshops "intelligent" removal tools. You can't sell a print without giving buyers a chance to copy it.

Mike
I agree, exactly. I sold a print here, no copyright. However, it is my choice here whether I want to offer sales or not. I offer some photos only "locally", i.e. including the final print. Then I put the logo on the back and think about marking the origin of the work.
Nice light everyone
If you do sell, search Google occasionally to see if your image is being used anywhere. I did, and found my image on a website. Contacted them and stated they had 24 hours to take it down, that is was copyrighted. They did.
As a definitive answer, I purchased a large metal print from here. There is no copyright on it though the photo as shown in the Gallery had a copyright notice on it.
