wheat field after harvest

In the wheat field photographed in Wuhan, farmers harvested the wheat ahead of schedule because of continuous rain, forming a very regular guide line on the ground. In order to better reflect the extension of the line, I need to lift the camera as high as possible

The camera and parameters used can be viewed in the details

Hi NingYun and thank you for given us a try - I will jump right in - I know this wonderful image is published and rightly so - Wonderful composition and lead-in so Congratulation well done. What we do here is try and give you a few fresh ideas and mybe look at your fine image with a new pair of eyes.

If this image was mine and I wish is was this is what I would do - I find your composition perfect so no change there. - All I did was use two tools first the Dodge tool with Opacity set at 18% I painted a little more light on the lines in the field. To help bring that 3D look out more - Next I used Nik tools Tonal Contrast - I painted it on the land and not the sky to give a bite of texture to your beautiful image.

That's it thank you for sharing - Great image..

Hello, @NingYun Ye

Welcome to our forum and congrats on this published image. The lined vertically draw eyes straight to the tree and the horizontal line is placed very wisely in terms of photographic composition. A fine, minimalist and informative image. My friend Daniel Springgay did a great job, too and I can only congratulate you both. Have great light....
