Please let me know what do you think about the idea and implementation of this picture.
im a portrait photoartist, i principally work with bodypainting.
in this picture I wanted to express the season autumn. The time in the year when the leaves changes their colors from fresh green to "golden shining". It should show the beauty and strength of this period of time, To complete the impressions I used triggers for the headpiece.
Mayathara Thank you for given us a try - And welcome to " The Real Critique " - Your image - I see plenty of high quality and great camera skill - Processing also very good - Wonderful subject with plenty of planning on show. - I also know it's a published image but not yet awarded.
I'm also a lover of the fine art of portraiture - If this image was mine and I wish it was I might ove gone for full eye contact instead of that sleepy autumn look.
Great image thank you for sharing...
Hello Mayathara
Welcome to the forum and thank you for bring this image to our attention. I can only reiterate what Daniel has already said, and I wish it were mine too! It's a superb, artistic portrayal of Autumn, and I can see that a huge amount of creativity has gone into this portrait on both sides of the camera. I hope you will receive the award you deserve. I look forward to seeing more of your beautiful work.
Kind regards
Elizabeth
Hello, mayathara
Welcome to our forum. This is a really good piece of work . It has real artistic value. It is well balanced in many ways. I really like it. I also like the idea of it. Yet I want to state some humble ideas I have about it if I may. I think cutting too close to the nipples does not give to the image but takes from it. I think having cut the body from a bit higher or lower position would have had a greater effect. Surely this is my personal idea. Another point would have been the branches on her head. The one on the top of her head should have been in focus according to me. The brancehes behind her face are blury and this is well mastered.I love the color and the make-up very much. The sad look and the closed eyes are real to the mood of the story. Autumn is a glorious goodbye to the beauties of nature and it is definitely a sad time of the year. Your image is published and awaits being awarded. I hope you get the award as I agree with my friends Elizabeth Allen and Daniel Springgay . I congratulate you on this image. Have great light.
