This is my art challenge,Artificial Sky .
The photo was took at Tsuiki Air Base using Canon R10
Lens RF600f11, ss 1/2000 ,ISO 2000 ;edit by Adobe Photoshop.
Many of airplane's photograph is provided real background, but sometimes i can see sky like this cauze my brain tired.
So, I tried to show my vision of sky with art.
I want to know, Is this photo can tell a story?
Pues sinceramente creo perjudica mucho esa forma de educación
I was lost with this one and I still am. The background has removed all photographic evidence that this was once a photograph so much so, that when I first saw it, I thought the plane was a painting too. I guess I should spend more time studying these things.
Hello, Shunma
Welcometo our forumand thankyou for sharing your image with us. Thisis a challenging attempt for sure.I myselflike adding artistic elements to my images. I mainly do this wiyh nature and Still Life photography. As I am not the only one doing it the result does not attract unwanted attention. Changing the background of a realistic scene not much tried before can take some time to be welcomed as a photographic display. Yet it needs time to be seen by many to get accustomed to it. One advice might be to take it slow and not start with a dense conversion. Another advice is about the composition. The negative space in front would have made the composition better I think. I wish you good light...Cicek
Hi Shunma
There is good advice from Cicek already and these are my thoughts.
I can’t imagine how difficult it is to capture planes in flight like this. I looked through your profile and noticed your other beautiful aircraft images. The way you place your subject within the frame is consistent across those, but what makes the others work is that they have a light trail that becomes the true focal point of the image. This one, without that added element, leaves the plane feeling awkwardly placed in the composition.
The illustrated background also pulls this image too far into an artificial aesthetic. It starts to feel more like a digital illustration than a photograph, and that shift in visual language might work against what you’re hoping to communicate. I agree with Cicek that a more natural background would be a better choice.
That being said, experimentation is what pushes us forward as artists. Trying new ideas, even when they don’t land perfectly, is where growth happens. I believe that’s exactly what this forum is for, sharing works in progress and getting honest but constructive feedback. Keep exploring.
All the best,
Tammy
Hi and welcome. This is my take on your offering. I first selected the aircraft and changed the backgroud with motion blurr and change the colours so to tone them down a little All this was done on the quich more time better the detail. Topaz AI sharpen and +17 saturation....
