This photo was taken in natural light with the intent to express a journey from darkness to light, both literally and metaphorically. The silhouette of the man walking alone through a tunnel represents personal transition, hope, and solitude.

I would appreciate feedback on the composition, lighting, and emotional impact. Do you feel the image conveys the intended story or mood?

Settings:

  • Focal length: [27mm]

  • Aperture: [f/9.0]

  • Shutter speed: [1/40sec]

  • ISO: [400]

Post-processing was done in  Lightroom ,

Adjustments were mostly in contrast, clarity, and black & white conversion.

Thank you in advance for your time and insights!

Hi  Marwa and welcome  I see a fine image with plenty of power to please the many well composed well done. I have taken your image back into Photoshop for a closer lokk this is what I came up with. A small crop to reduce the large black area. Tomaz AI sharpen. Some burn tool work highlights reduced 21% see attached thank you for sharing

Hi , Thank you so much for your kind words and valuable feedback!

I really appreciate the time you took to look closely at my image and offer suggestions.

I will definitely try the small crop and highlight reduction as you suggested — it’s great to see how small changes can enhance the impact.

Thanks again for your support and encouragement
