Above Moonbeam

Picture taken during the Régates Royale old yacht race in Cannes Bay.
The difficulty was indeed to be right above almost in the axis of the mast .. I wanted to capture the beauty of the wood deck with the (relatively) resting crew while the yacht cuts through the sea

magnifique sentiment de puissance, l'arrondi de la voile, l'écume à l'étrave, un point de vue très original ! bravo au photographe et au pilote aussi !

ps : j'aime aussi le contraste puissance/ côté "cool" des équipiers savourant ce bord au portant entre deux manoeuvres-

This picture was taken from an helicopter circling hard right above the ship. This strong circling made the helicopter balance on the inside of the circle which allow me to take the picture .. Glad that the seat belt was strongly fasten :-)

Marc Pelissier Ben au dessus :-)) En fait, l'hélico est incliné très fortement sur le coté en effectuant une spirale très serré (c'est sport aussi dans les airs) quasi à la verticale du mat

Marc Pelissier True Alice :-) Thanks for the comment. Not much wind that day however they could be happy to rest as this boat is managed totally manually .. no winch (and of course no electrical winch or else)
