Thanks everybody for the kind and encouraging remarks, and thanks to the screeners! This is my first accepted photo here at OE. This scene presented itself by chance on the way back to the airport after an aerial photo shot of downtown Copenhagen. When I saw the tree line and the beautiful light from the low winter sun, I had to be very quick, getting my camera back out of its bag and taking a series of shots that I cropped later. Because of airspace and air traffic control restrictions in this area, I was unable to circle, so it was a now or never shot. I used the matrix meter, which unfortunately overexposed the upper right corner a bit, but not beyond salvage.
