We are very proud to present our judge for this year, Anna Tellgren, Curator of Photography at Moderna Museet in Stockholm.
Honorable Mentions
The 1x Photo Awards 2011 has no specific theme so any photo subject can be entered to be considered for the first, second and third prizes.
In addition to the three grand prizes, there will a total of 20 Honorable Mentions in 10 different categories: Architecture, Conceptual, Documentary, Editing, Fine Art Nude, Landscape, Macro, Nature, People and Street. There will be two Honorable Mentions in each category, one will be selected by the judge and one selected by a public vote.
Exposure
The Grand Prize winners, People's Choice Award winner and Honorable Mentions will be promoted on the front page of 1x.com to our 3 million monthly unique visitors, as well as in social media and other marketing promotions.
Call for Entries
The cost to participate in the competition is as low as 10€ (EU)/$10 (non-EU) per entry! The deadline for submissions is October 31, 2011.
