Fly in green
A dense "forest" of cow-parsley (Anthriscus sylvestris) creates this green atmosphere.

He, he, lovely fly on green, almost glows!
Johan Lind  I appreciate your comment - Thanks Ursula =)

The "glow" is mostly caused by having a flash some 30 cm sideways from the camera. When the light from the flash then passes through the leaves it gets all greenish and "glowy".
Ursula I Abresch  Ahhh, you mean like a flash on a bracket or something like that, or detached? How do you manage to not overpower a scene like this with a flash - do you point it at the scene or onto a reflector, or how?
Johan Lind  Yep, homemade reflector solves it! Nice and gentle light. There's lots of DIY inspiration out there =)
Ursula I Abresch  All right! Thank you. Now ... how do you keep the fly still? (PS, that's not a fly, is it? It looks sort of like a mosquito).
Johan Lind  I talk gently to it =))
Ursula I Abresch  Aha, thanks! Talk gently, use a reflector. Sounds like a plan :) Thanks again!
hoho, great one:)
Johan Lind  Thanks Christopher!
