Children are just so expressive. I can feel the shear joy you've managed to capture here. It's a fantastic picture Tracy.

Tracy Martin Thank you, I really enjoy shooting children simply because children ARE so purely expressive, what you see is what you get. I had a father approach me shortly after I took this image to ask me what I was doing, but he wasn't interested in an answer, he just wanted me to stop. I don't blame him but it is unfortunate that in todays society we are continuously on guard for our children and I wonder how that will affect them in the future.

Song Yao Sadly, I think you're absolutely right Tracy, society is totally geared towards overly protecting our children. They simply aren't allowed to take as many risks as in past generations and I think this will have a fundamental affect on them in later life. Still, what better image of hope than that of laughing children at play.

Tracy Martin Thanks Codrin. This was taken yesterday in Japan Town(San Fransisco) it was a beautiful day, the mood of the children really reflected that. :-)
