Having been raining a whole week in Sydney area, it was finally stopped on Friday evening. So I decided to go to the east coast to take seascape pictures on the next day morning. I left home at 4.30am, drove one hour to get to Maroubra beach. It was a very low tide period. This gave me an opportunity to stand this location without much risk.

By the time the sky started to change, I made a number of shots on the foreground water traces, and then I tilted my camera and pointed to the sky to make other several shots. The final image was actually made from a number of shots around the same time, and stitched together so that it contained what I really wanted: the dramatic rock/water foreground as well as the changing sky.
