Ansel, I love this picture! It is just as I've seen places like this. I have wondered how to make pictures of them. You did it just right.

Ursula I Abresch How did you get straight above?

Ansel Siegenthaler I was standing on the ledge looking straight down, 8m or so for this shot - all it takes is a deep enough gorge :) Before I was trying to catch the right angle looking either up canyon or down canyon but it never got to be just right. Climbing down to the bottom would take away all the lofty view and be quite wet, also not satisfactory.

Ursula I Abresch Thank you! It really is beautiful. I am always so afraid to get close to the edges of these gorges, the edges are unstable, or at least seem unstable. :)
