A shot taken on The Isle of Skye at a place called the Quiraing. This particular day I was hoping for some lovely soft morning light being cast all over the Quiraing ridge along with a dramatic sky. As it turned out a sunrise casting great light all over the scene never happened but instead a different but nevertheless dramatic atmosphere did appear with this grey/blue forboding sky casting it's shadow on the top of the ridge whilst the sun tried to break through and illuminate the cliff faces, hills, Loch and heather covered land below. On Skye it is extremely difficult to predict what the conditions will actualy be like, where there can regularly be four seasons in one day. You take what's given and try and show the drama that is Skye.
