Water Dragon
Done with an exploding water baloon.
No 'creative' post-production (I've just eliminated a piece of the baloon that was in the middle of the water).
Basically, all the postproduction has been on saturations and contrasts.
Any feedback is very welcome.

Great work!

I think I saw this one in the critique section weeks ago, you said it wasn't accepted at the time, what did you change?
Giovanni Casini  I've increased the overall contrast a bit and I've increased also the saturation and the luminosity of the blue in the water.
Mohammed Gamal  so these changes are what got it to be accepted?
Giovanni Casini  Yes. In fact such changes were what most of the comments in the critique section pointed out as needed.
Mohammed Gamal  Great! I thought that photos that got rejected were no good. I might try posting in the critique section then. Thanks!

r u serious? i'm confused about how u got this effect without post-production. what do u mean baloon in the middle of the water? :-)) it's very impressive
Giovanni Casini  It is an exploding water baloon, caught just in the moment of the explosion, just in the instant when the plastic of the baloon is gone away while the shape of the water is still the shape of the baloon. You can find some photos of this kind all around the web and also here on 1x. By 'a piece of the baloon in the middle of the water' I mean that in the photo there was still a piece of plastic of the baloon in the middle of the ball, and I have eliminated it. That's the only 'creative' post-production I have done. Thanks :)

absolutely impressive shot
what shutter speed do you need to obtain such great result ?
Giovanni Casini  Thanks!
You shoot in the dark, in BULB time. The flashes determine the time of exposure. So, yes, it is very fast...

YES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Really happy you get it published
great work indeed !!!!!!
Giovanni Casini  Thanks Frank! Your advices have been extremely useful!

Congrats Giovanni. How did you make the balloon explosion? I hope not with an harrow :))
Giovanni Casini  Thanks! Not an arrow :) , just a pin attached to my friend's thumb... and no sensors connected to the flashes, just the old '3-2-1-Go!'. We needed more than twenty attempts to obtain a couple of good shots.
