I agree with Frank, but that's why you are such a good photographer, that you can brake the rules and make a great picture despite all of it :-))

A splendid capture Nicolas
Normally it should not work, she is on the right, looking on the right
you have cut her view

But this is a perfect exemple where a rule should not be applied
it works really fine here, maybe due to the light coming from the right, maybe due to the interior on the left
maybe due to all that

BUT a pure eye candy for me !!!

Yes, you are right, and it is simply one of those moments where you can hardly do anything about it, because I'm not gonna tell my subjects to sit where I want them to sit. Especially in this case, she uses to pray there every morning, it's like HER place, so to me, respecting that is more important that any rule thus I tried to make the best out of it. :) Bonne Année my friend!

How fortunate are you to spend the night and be so spoilt, you deserve their gift, and they love to give all that they have. This is a beautiful image Nicolas, she looks so deep in prayer and at peace. If only the Chinese government could have the knowledge and compassion needed to allow Tibetan people to live in peace and be a "Free Tibet " again. Congratulations on this image, and have a great 2012.
