Struggle..

"Panjat Pinang" is the most favorite event held on the National Day of Indonesia.They were divided into several groups,each group gets a turn to climb-up the trunk.They must be cooperative and struggle to retrieve the goods which were hung on the top.This is not easy at all because the trunk is applied with some grease and water will be sprayed on the climber......it is deadly dangerous!

This is really intense a fine capture very intense & the b&w conversion is remarkably detailed the mans foot the central focal point is sublime. I might have given some attention to the folded hands on the right & subdued more the laughing face in the background but these are minor points in what is a painterly b&w of wonderful quality.
