Backstory: This super nice gent was sad and down on himself because he was having trouble finding steady work and had a bit of a drinking problem that was getting a little out of hand. Whenever he could, he would dress up as a clown and entertain the local kids (I understood he would occasionally get a few small tips, as his only income) primarily because he really enjoyed entertaining them. Here, after a little show he was chatting with Vicky who gave him a consoling kiss, to help cheer him up.
