very impressive picture. I like how the air mass is mingling on the background, it underlines the captured (or created) space and light. the grass structure emphasizes the dreamy atmosphere.

It's not a "Her", it's a "him"...As I said before in my replies here, the creation of this image was very fast without having any explicit ideas, everything was by chance, and I was lucky, I had photographed that man in this position.

I don't live in New York...for the last 12 years. I live in a small, very conservative - city in the middle of what is known as the Bible belt. If you know the song by Nick Cave, God is in the House...you will understand...I don't know if you would survive in this town with your spirit. I owe you an OE mail and will write soon..I waned to share a few things with you...Ah..I loved this last publication.

Excellent Kaveh, especially how you worked that in the light. But then there are small details that make this special, like the how his direction of gaze is turned towards the left, and away from the light. Meaningful creation.

This creation was rather random and very fast. It took less than 30 minutes from the idea to the end draft. I've received an E-Mail from the manager of a band who asked if I have any images passing to their new album "Lighthouse". And so it was created, also not much thoughts behind it, but afterwards I had many thoughts.

First of all thank you very much ;-)

It took only 30 minutes from the idea to creation of this image. It is til now my fastest work. I just had a sudden idea and luckily the right material. I shot the images used in this picture in north Germany last year with a small Pentax Optio, because the big brother was stolen a few days before :-( I took actually just a few ( maybe less than 20) photos with that camera.
Three images are used here. Lighthouse, background&sky and the balk&man. All three not far from each other. For giving more drama to the sky I cut it out and used the "Twirl Tool" in Photoshop. I did not use any special techniques, just like always playing with layers, light and shadows.
