Thanks to all who have responded here! This was my first submission ever to 1X, I am so flattered to have been chosen, I guess I thought it would take weeks before I learned whether or not it was selected :). I will try more! I had the chance this summer to hike the Tour du Mont Blanc, and this photo was made on my last day of this incredible hike. It just called to me to do it in black and white. I am humbled by your comments.

With a smaller figure this photograph reminds me vaguely of the famous landscapes of Ansel Adams readings, you have been very good to use the post to create balance qst particular window while the monochrome contrast is excellent as is the composition. Overall, the overall picture gives charm and emotion, sincere congratulations, very good Barbara.. :)
