Love the storytelling and emotion which is highly contradicted by the high contrast in black and white. The lighting effect and space look natural and not staged. Beautiful. The grainy feature adds to the drama to unfold. Great story with a very personal and imaginative ending.

Andre du Plessis Thanks Orlando. I worked up a more flat variant initially, but I just cannot resist darker tones, so once again I had to venture that way:) However, it appealed more to me, and gave me more freedom to use what light there was more creatively. Thus I could accentuate the more diagonal appearance of the light.

Just lovely Andre. Such alacrity and joy in living evoked in a single moment. I love the shadow on the wooden floor there, evoking the ephemerality and innocence of childhood.

Andre du Plessis Many thanks Noelle. She was running up and down all the time, however, always on the left and out of the light. Luckily on the last run her parents moved away, and in running towards them she eventually ran down the line that I was waiting for:)
