Marc,
Sometimes the feeling a viewer gets when looking at a photograph can be different than the actual feel of the scene when shot... Much like a song or poem is open to individual interpretations. So I have no idea how accurate my feelings are to the actual moment that you experienced, but the perspective from which this was shot, along with all of the main elements at play - give me an extraordinary sense of utter helplessness among the harsh elements of nature... Surely any photo that can evoke than type of emotion in a viewer is a masterpiece.
