Exceptional shot - with mood, clear subject - great toning...and a very sad expression that is clearly authentic. It shows the environment so clearly, and gets your message across beautifully.
I have a little understanding of his predicament - but not as bad of course. I lived for 19 years in a house which was just in from the main street where the A train above ground in NYC passed. The entire house shook each time and it was very frequent....and that was a brick house. I cannot imagine what the sound is like with the buildings you show here. He is smart to know enough to get inside....I have to say my image of Jakarta was not like this...and so you have woken me up! Phyllis
