In Japan we can scarcely see the Southern Cross in south island near Taiwan just above the horizon.
One third of the cross already had been below the horizon but I decided to take on this timing to show the Milky Way band rose high enough above.
What was amazing was the reflection of the 2 bright stars Centaurs Alfa & Beta on the mirror like quiet sea.

Picture was taken with 5 composite images of 20sec exposures in 2 parts above and below the horizon compensated for star rotation.
I personally do not like to rotate the stars to show the trails which makes the sky too busy and spoil the silent image of the night.
That also rotates the Milky Way and ruins the sharp image.
