Luck, patience, and more luck: what's what it took to get this shot. The lighting underneath this dying supercell was absolutely spectacular, which only helped the situation. This was the last shot I was going to take before packing up, because it was beginning to rain harder. That was the luck part. The patience part was taking many dozen photos before this, hoping to get a lightning bolt.

Colors were NOT altered in this photo; only curves was used. I tried to do Auto Saturation Enhancement, but the image is so colorful it actually DEsaturated the image!
