I was carrying in my mind for a long time this iconic image, almost a cliche some would say, of an old shepherd with wrinkles on his face and preferably a red turban. My brain probably picked it up from the thousands of photos from india watched before. However, when seeing them, all my senses got alive and my only fear was if I will be able or not to shot them as a group and without interfering too much. They were all waiting for something important, don't know what, somewhere at a cross roads, in the middle of nowhere. It was mid noon and very hot outside, the only thing one could do was drinking a hot tea inside, in the protection of a shade.
