Portrait of a White-tailed eagle (Haliaeetus albicilla) shot at a tiny zoo on Margitsziget, Budapest. The zoo has a special program for birds of prey who for some reason got injured and aids their rehabilitation. This bird lost a part of her wing due to electric shock from a high voltage cable, therefore is unable to survive in the wild any longer.

csaba tokolyi Grazie, Raffaele! It was shot in wintertime on a dull day so there was not too much light and she was not that motionless so I needed shutterspeed.
