Pablo de Gorrión Well, during the very recent past, women were considered nothing more but servants for the men, in a great majority of nations. Even today it happens in many countries/families. This holyday were suppoused to produce a different thinking, even if for one day only. Althought it is obvious that we should manifest ourselfs everyday, special days make people think, reflect. In this case, it also produces millions of extra smiles...
