The skirt may well be blown but I voted for it because of the elegant lines of her arms, the tilt of her head, and the way the light defines the muscles. Those make it far from a "snapshot."

Dalibor Talajic The reason why I consciously blew out a bit of the details of the skirt was to create a kind of dreamy atmosphere. I find it more soft and delicate this way.

Beautiful, Dalibor, the perfect moment you've captured here, I like it a lot! Ordinary? *sigh...I guess that somehow we lost our power (or need) 'to see' and for being moved we need more and more the 'extraordinary' element in images where is plenty to be seen, felt, looked at! Have a wonderful Sunday!

Dalibor Talajic If we lost that power is mainly because we live in times and lands of plenty.
The proof that we still have that need is, among other things, in our photographs.
Why such ordinary, calming and reassuring images get to be published and liked is a different matter...

Ordinary image, with too bright dress....or toot toot...I have seen many photos like this before, snapshots from some ballet performance....so I don´t understand why it´s published in this gallery...it is just too average for me...

This is not a snapshot since I chose it out from a hundred images I made that night.
But, almost all the rest is true and I pretty much agree with you.
Considering your understanding and your aesthetic intelligence I am wondering why are you so surprised!? I could copy/paste your words under 70% of photos on the World Wide Web. Amidst butterflies, water drops, books pages, long exposure blurred skies and waters is where this picture found a perfect environment.
It's not so bad after all...
