House MD comes to mind...

Iain Funny you should say that, a couple of other people have said the same, and also that it looks like Chris Martin, and while I don't mind House, not sure how I feel about Chris Martin :)

Faddoush Yes I noticed that...well you look a little like him, not much, but the light and the whole concept of the shot is very similar to the add of House MD.

Its the blue eyes that completes the shot for me.

Actually an eerily horrible shot Iain, in the good sense that I feel he is actually in the room with me when I look into his face, quite disturbing and I find I cannot look at him for very long.

An extraordinary portrait that singles this out from many others that have very little effect on me.

Iain Thanks Ben, I'm glad it struck a chord with you, I played with several variations, this was my favourite.

Faddoush Not for me, I think the color took some of the magic away. May be because it is blue ( very close to grey) it feels like something in between imo.

Iain Funny you should say that, the colour in the photo is actually the natural colour of my eyes, though obviously with a bit of detail work done.

Photographically a very good work with excellent quality! But the only thing which i personally do not like is the color key for his eyes. Also i know that without this separation it is an excellent picture.

Iain Like above, the colour is my natural eye colour. I understand what you're saying though, I did go back and forth between the full B&W and the blue eye colour a few times before I decided, I felt in the end this one had more impact.
