This image is, in some ways, hard to look at. But it is worthwhile. It shows unvarnished reality. As a photo, I find it particularly interesting that it is in colour. Most documentary work seems to be in B/W, at least here at this site, but this image is in colour, and it works wonderfully well. Congratulations on the publish!

bu fotografin paylasilmasina ben ulke acisindan degil de oradaki nenem acisindan yaklasman?n daha dogru oldugunu dusunuyorum, bu dusunceyle de eger gorevim gazetecilik degilse -ki degil- paylasmazdim. ama internet artik gazetelerin yerini aliyor ben de gazeteciyim diyorsan ayri! bir belgesel olarak degil de sanki bir haber karesi olarak guzel bir fotograf, tek basina hikayeyi bizim memleketin gerceklerini pek bilmeyenler icin yansitmiyor gibi gorunse de... tek kareden belgesel cikarmak da ne kadar dogru o da ayri bir tartisma konusu :) daha fazla karistirmayalim kafalari :)) tebrikler, selamlar...

you're so right. these are hands of our people, not the damn goverment's. shame on us, a lot of people are suffering from this lack of education!
