Miroslav Evacic ? multiinstrumentalist, a worldwide established author of his own music style called Chardash Blues, comes from north Croatia (Koprivnica) which lies on the Drava river. His fascination with the Drava river is the essence of his musical arts work. He created his first album Chardash Blues (2003.) on the roots of his land which is next to the Croatian-Hungarian border (where chardash comes from) and the roots of ancient delta blues. This album was recognised by fROOTS and SingOut! Magazines and played worldwide.. His second album Blues reke Drave (The Drava river Blues) (2005.) reveales his passion for Drava river. With this album he won the national music award Porin. His third album Fulmination (2007.) brings colaboration with the legenary multiinstrumentalist Brian Ritchie from The Violent Femmes. His closest musical partner is his wife Gordana Evacic. As a cymbalom (hammered dulcimer) player, she won many national awards in cathegories of folk instruments. Miroslav produced her solo album Sneha (2009.), also recomanded by fROOTS playlist.
