Oh, if ever there was a photograph to show us a clash of cultures, then this would be it! I can feel the tension in the group of 3 women from here, but I'm not sure if the 4th woman feels awkward at all :)
It is a good photo which provokes emotions in the viewer, and this one does!

I remember this image so vividly. I cannot understand how I did not comment on this.
Well, for me this is one of those images that one might be lucky to capture once in a life-time. I would like to believe that it is candid - everything about it tells me that it is.
Barring a jury that is very PC, this image, with that very title, is something that should be seen by many more. The enjoyment factor simply demands that. Ironical? I dunno - but it works for me, and I shall go as far as promising that this is a competition winner. But only Big Competitions please - it has the hall-marks of BC all over it.

Excellent photo, I think has to go in PHOTO BOOK for this year. Power of this excellent life photo is meeting of 2 cultures and views on life in this so beautiful world. What is more interesting is different behaviour of tree persons. Girl on the right has the best pose. Bravo maestro.

Apart from the cultural diversity portrayed nicely, the other thing that caught my attention here was the fact that the white rocks they are walking on gave a disguised feel of ice (from the thumbnail) ..which of course adds the sense of mystery/surprise which is often an important element of a successful photo.

You did well here.
