Congratulations with this first upload on 1X. Hope to see more great work from you in the near future. Just love splashing images like this one. You've done an excellent job on this one, but IMHO there is a little overexposure in the lower left corner. Would like to have seen a bit more detail in that part of the image.
Nevertheless a real pleasure to look at.

Was this done using multi-flash/stroboscopic..technically that would be one shot.
Also may have been taken upside down?

Lex Augusteijn I don't think so, two flashes would expose the pepper twice, not just the liquid.
Looks like he is using 2 liquids, probably milk judging from the opaguebess and the viscity, one blue and one orange.
The orange one seem to come from the inside, the blue one might be on the outside.

Batoev: what was more work: shooting or cleaning :-) ?

LayeredLife There is a white liquid or seems to be at the bottom. I'm still thinking this may have been shot while hanging upside-down..

Lex Augusteijn Either it has been shot (by a gun, not by a camera) from the left or it was falling to the left, leaving the liquid behind. In the latter case the image has been rotated by 90 degrees clockwise.

LayeredLife That's a lot of action for falling.

Something may also be "holding" the pepper. Think of something stuck through the far side of the peeper holding it with a black BG thrown in front/around that stick. The side lighting would help conceal the BG. I have also thought about how I would squirt some colored liquid with some pharmacy syringes
