In Safe Hands
took this image as part of my A Level photography project.
I wanted to show someone with rough hard hands and show the contrast between them and something as delicate as the pigeon
The jacket this man was wearing was great, as it did not take any attention away from the bird but adds to the mood of the image
I burnt in the corners in photoshop to create a vignette and centre the eyes more in to the centre of the image
For me I feel it has a timeless quality and even though taken about six months ago feels it could have been taken years ago

I know those hands. Do they belong to 'Jack Duckworth'? ;^) Like you say it's a timeless shot and a lovely one at that. He's holding the pigeon with great care and respect. Congrats on another publication.
