Very good. I love the depth!
Charlie Mac Bell  Thank you :)

Your own work is quite amazing too, I added to my collections your 3 published photographs (so far...) without even realizing they were from the same artist! Kudos for these inspiring images!

Very original low point of view, and perfect white balance. If this is an HDR, I never could imagine it, it si very natural. Well done.
Charlie Mac Bell  Thank you! You don't see it because I don't use any software for tonemapping: all with layers and masks, delicate strokes of 3% density paintbrushes for the borders... Crafting an image remains the same for me whether analog or digital. :)

Beautiful, I read some of the comments, I agree, it's a very good use of hdr, quite unnoticeable... I love the curves in your landscape (emphasized with the wide-angle ?)
Charlie Mac Bell  Yes, it's actually (also) a panoramic photograph of 3 vertical shots : [][][]... So after they are assembled there is a lot of flexibility with horizon and curves! :)

Thank you for your interest and your kind comment!

Makes me feel jump in the photo to feel the snow and the fresh light + weather.
A perfect combination of light, time and weather conditions. Superb.
Charlie Mac Bell  Thank you. I'm keeping it safe for this summer when I'll need it to refresh my ideas too... ;D

Just Perfect
splendid light

fully agree with your HDR approach ! it's not always full of saturation and halo
Well done
congrats
Charlie Mac Bell  I'm glad to read this. Always strikes me when I read in the comment of a photograph "This was NOT made with HDR" as if it were a sin.

I used to bracket with my analog camera and use smoked glycerin and cardboard to hide and reveal parts of the photograph long before the softwares. Why should I not do it now anymore? Oh well.. ;)

Thank you for your kind and supportive comment!

fbaillet  Excellent !!! someone who knows this technic in analog mode...
when I'm trying to explain this around me, people are looking at me, thinking that I'm totally stupid
lol !!!

most of my work is also HDR !!!
so I'm fully supportive, no issue with that

Perfect light in such difficult situation:-))
Charlie Mac Bell  Another photograph I couldn't have done without Bracketing... Took the back of the rock from overexposed shot and the sun from underexposed, rectified tones and light and finalized details. HDR isn't always "ugly editing", sometimes it just "saves the light"... ;)

Thank you so much for your consistent support and this new very kind message! :)
Ben Goossens  Done with pleasure:-)

I'm not a landscape photographer, but have everything, camera and software(PS and Photomatix Pro)... so maybe one day, who knows?

This proves, that software can improve an image very must, makes possible the impossible. A good argument against some "photo-purists"

Have a nice evening:-)

Charlie Mac Bell  Because our eye is an HDR device: it cloaks the sun pretty much the way I did (for this we'll see a dark circle on a white wall if we go from one to the other) and reveals hidden treasures (or monsters) in the shadows. No film or sensor knows best...

Can't wait to discover your landscapes ! ;D

This is amazing. The powder texture of the snow especially.
Charlie Mac Bell  Made me want to jump in when I was there... But then the shot would have been ruined so I postponed for a few minutes before I did ! ;D

Snow is such a delicate and interesting texture to photograph! Thank you for your kind comment. :)
Wesley Law  Haha!! I would have jumped in too. Wouldn't have been able to stop myself.
