This was an example of becoming aware of images presenting themselves. Heading out of Trestevere I passed a fountain and I could see this image upon the fountain steps slowly presenting itself to me as I approached. This loyal dog guarding his master's bag gave me a look that said it all - do not approach! His master, absorbed in "La Republica" remained blissfully unaware of my presence. The true sign of a great guard dog!
