I saw 3 women like this sitting on a bench in Oxford Street recently, and wanted to capture them, but somehow did not. So I am glad that you did. Lovely pic, and I wonder if the one on the lefts is part of the threesome on the right. She does look a bit pre-occupied in this moment.

The "shadow" of the woman behind the man is also so apt - a little kind of almost "alter ego" or wishing for younger women on the bench. One has to look for this, but it makes the picture.

Angela, I could write a novel of my feelings and thoughts...but your picture is like a novel - it has so many stories. What impresses me about the picture is how they are older now, but still they are trying to take care of themselves..comfortable, but nice shoes, handbags, even a scarf. If there were room on the bench I would want to sit down with them....and listen to their stories. Deep feelings from this picture. :) My best, Phyllis
