This picture belongs to my story about and old mansion in Belgium, abandoned since over 40 years now after a tragic story.
Everything in there stayed after the woman who lived there went to prison, guarded only by the spiders. It was a unique moment to be in there.

Well i took 4 shots with different exposures, did a manual exposure blending of these to handle the difficult light, dodge & burn, some light accents and a little finetuning in color balance

Sven Fennema  Thank you so much Monique! Light wasn't easy here due the window, no it's all natural light, but I used 4 exposures to handle this the right way and avoid the bloomings!

Wonderful Sven, you keep amazing us ... like you are living all alone in a lost city ... realy amazing how you keep finding these extraordinary places. But I guess many people see from time to time such places without seeing them?

Oh yes it so, but I recognized that in the meantime my eyes are searching permanently...no matter where I am :)

MarieM  I can dive in your images without a doubt. Did you ever think to make a book with such pictures ? They are story tellers.
Sven Fennema  There are really ideas about this, have to complete some series first (I'm in delay with processing) but I'm going to search for a publisher, soon and I really hope that somewhen I'll find one! Not an easy thing with a topic which is very unusual.
