Nice photo Alex! I think I have seen it somewhere else but it's still great.
Alexandre Buisse  I doubt you have, but thanks for the compliment.
Ulrik Hasemann  Ah you are right, it was this one http://www.luminous-landscape.com/tutorials/mountain-climbing.shtml I was thinking of. Same place.

Beautiful shot! Makes me want to go up in the mountains!
Alexandre Buisse  That's the best compliment you could possibly give me!
Lars Grepstad  I've been on a few tops myself, but never really been climbing. At Beerenberg, Jan Mayen we used ropes the last 500m, and the closest I've been to really climbing. Not a really high peak, at 2277m, but had to be done in 1 day, getting there and back to sea level.A fantastic trip! A pity it is so hard to get to that island.

This one looks familiar, superb work Alexandre, I can only dream of these places.
Alexandre Buisse  I have posted many images from this ascent, but this particular picture was hidden on one of my drives until yesterday, so I don't think you've seen it before.
Alex OBrien  Clearly not. :)

Have you seen the movie Vertical limit? =) That looks scary, great perspective!
Alexandre Buisse  Haha yes, I have. The jury is still out on which of Cliffhanger or Vertical Limit was the most ridiculous climbing movie ever, though.

Thanks for sharing a view (and being able to work your camera!) from a place the rest of us will never get to.
Alexandre Buisse  You're very welcome! Taking a camera up there is a struggle, but it really is worth the effort.

A photo from a perspective that not many of us has the inclination or privaledge to capture, an insight into the climber's world.

Alexandre Buisse  I'm indeed glad if you can get a glimpse of what is now my world.
Very nice, love the composition and drama in this :-)

Nice shot - same one as on LL. Though for me on my monitor the snow looks a little grey still. Needs 2/3 of a stop exposure increase?
Alexandre Buisse  No, it's a new one that wasn't on the LL article. The snow is less than pure white on purpose, it looks correctly exposed (whatever that means) on my monitor...

The title is quite appropriate! Really makes you "feel" like you're there! Very good mountaineering shot.
Alexandre Buisse  I'm very glad it does. But by the time I was up there, I was so exhausted that I didn't care so much about the exposure...
