Nice picture but I can not find the subject of main interest. the noise gives a good feeling but it makes the picture perceived as entropic.

if that was the intention then you succeeded!

Even though it may sound like I'm a pyromaniac, I just love the feeling that this image conveys, you can really feel the smoke and heat. The gritty texture of the image really adds to the feeling of chaos.

This one goes straight into the favourites-section.

Lots of history behind this photograph. I took it more than 30 years ago, when I was in high school. Several months ago, I came across this stash of old negatives and started scanning them. When I found this negative, I remembered the fire, the smoke, the confusion. This fire knocked out telehpone service in lower Manhattan for 3 days. Shut down the stock market. It was fun to play with it. It's particularly gratifying to see others enjoy it.
